World University Match Racing Championship - Final Report

They were sure to gain the titles: by qualifying their two crews in female and male finale yesterday, Brazil and Australia knew that they would leave Nice in world champions! Winners name remained to know. In the afternoon, the finales delivered their verdict. For the girls, Brazil 2 skippered by Renata Decnop dominated her fellow countrywoman Juliana Senfft in the term of 3 great matches (won 2-1 by Decnop). For the boys, it was the second Australian boat skipped by Gilmour who defeated Griffin in two matches. The bronze medals were gleaned by France (Julie Bossard) and Great Britain (Shaw).
