Lucy Macgregor (GBR) stayed on form and continued to lead the way with an unblemished record after the two days of racing in the 2012 Busan Cup Women’s International Match Race in Busan, South Korea. She is followed closely by Ekaterina Skudina (RUS), Claire Leroy (FRA), and Anna Kjellberg (SWE) who each have 7 wins and only one loss each.
The twelve teams again saw the sea breeze in the waters off Haeundae. The day started with a brief postponement as the sea breeze materialized and by the end of the day they saw a nice 12-15 knots.
Racing continues through Sunday 28 October in the waters off Haeundae with activities planned on shore throughout the event. The twelve teams will compete in a round robin series followed knock out quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals to determine the champion and who will take home the coveted trophy and the winner’s share of the rich prize pool.
