World Sailing Match Race Rankings - 24 August 2016

The World Sailing Match Race rankings have been released and Taylor Canfield (ISV) remains on top of the Open section while Anna Kjellberg Östling (SWE) moves up to #1 in the women’s.

Finally taking top spot for the first time in over a year in the last rankings release, Canfield still holds an advantage over his big rival Ian Williams (GBR).

Anna Kjellberg Östling takes the top spot in the women’s division changing places with former #1, Camilla Ulrikkeholm Klinkby (DEN), who drops to #2. Östling moved up thanks to a win at the Grade 1 Lysekil Women’s Match. Anne Claire Le Berre (FRA) sits third in the women’s rankings.

Next month sees the 2016 Women’s International Match Racing Series (WIM Series - www.wimseries.com) continue with the Women’s Match Racing World Championship (WIM Series - www.sailing.org/events/womensmatchworlds/index.php) in Sheboygan, USA.
