St Quay International Women Match Race - Day One
Racing began today at the St Quay International Women Match Race in Saint Quay-Portrieux, France. The French (Le Berre) and Danes (Ulrikeholm) lead the way with 6 wins each.

There are just is just seven teams competing in the events as Claire Leroy (FRA) suffered an injury in Weymouth during the Skandia Sail for Gold and is unable to compete in St Quay.

Nine flights were completed on day one (1st RR plus 2 flights of 2nd RR) in 7-14 knots of shifty breeze.

The plan for the event is to sail four Round Robins, Semi Finals and Finals.
