Saint Quay Women’s Match Racing 2011 - Day Two
A VERY long day of racing in a wide variety of conditions for the fourteen top teams competing in the ISAF Grade 1 St Quay Women’s Match Racing 2011. Vesna Dekleva Paoli (SLO) ended the day with the best record and is assured of moving on to the quarter-finals. Behind her the battle for the remaining seven spots will be fierce with 3 flights (12 matches) remaining in the round robin. Anne-Claire Le Berre (FRA), Lucy Macgregor (GBR), and Ekaterina Skudina (RUS) are close behind with 7 wins each from 10 matches and look likely to advance. But with a full round robin scheduled for the 14 teams, there are still some battles to be fought tomorrow before the top 8 teams move on to the quarter-finals.
